I must admit I'm a little upset and a LOT late with this. Meet the legendary Bi Kidude, the oldest musical performer in the world. Hailing from Tanzania, this incredible woman continues to tour, sing, dance, play drums, smoke and drink, than-you-very-much! A documentary was released about her journey through life, a couple years back, and I have yet to see it! "As Old As My Tongue" (http://www.asoldasmytongue.net/) was released in 2006 and made international headlines after shining the light on this extraordinary woman and the timeless music she fights to preserve. Just watching the trailer inspires me and I have been writing the production company for some time now, trying to get a re-launch in the Tri-State area. Here are a few clips of my hero for the month!
