2. LIBATION Feat. Rich Medina @ Sullivan Room 7/3/08


This is a great party as is... but now with the new edition of their "Summer of Soul Series", and Rich Medina spinning all of that incredible dance music to shake, pump, and grind to...we love it even more! No wall flowers and losers allowed at this joint..this is strictly for dancers! (Of course I will be working and unable to make it so please send feedback & let me know how it goes!)

3. BRONX FIRST FRIDAYS 7/4/08



This month they will be featuring a live swing band (Ray Abram's Big Swing Band) & live tap dancing by Hoofers' House. Now I don't know about you, but I've been dreaming about tapping since I first saw Greggory Hines in White Nights! This is going to be an incredible event that should not be missed..and yet another opportunity to take your asses uptown! Get it?

4. 4th Annual Afro-Punk Film & Music Festival (7/4-7/13/08)



Showcasing the likes of J*Davey, Janelle Monae, and GAME Rebellion...this makes for good times and lots of funky hair styles! I am incredibly excited about this lineup! We've all been bombarded with massive amounts of nonsense music so this will surely be a breath of funky air! 5. 2nd Annual House Dance Festival- A 3-day Event! 7/10-7/13/08



AWWEEE SHIT! You already KNOW this is gonna be dope! This year's festival will be complete with group choreography contests, dance competitions, dance workshops, AND MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC! I'm sure you will catch sets from all of your favorite dance DJ's and even pick up a few new moves!
