Four highly respected pioneers from the worlds of hip hop theater, activism, and education - Adesola Osakalumi, Buddha Stretch, Ariel "Asho" Fernandez (ASHO PRODUCTIONS), and April Silver - join forces to co-present a one-of-a-kind program that explores the history, relevance, and future of hip hop dance and the culture that birthed it. The program features a screening of Moncell “Ill Kozby” Durden’s Everything Remains Raw (a groundbreaking documentary on hip hop dance) and a panel discussion (with Q&A). Dance afterwards with music provided by DJ DOC.
