NYT SPENDS A WEEKEND EATING PLATANOS

Seth Kugel, of the NYT, shows New Yorkers how to spend a weekend in the Dominican community of Washington Heights. A nice little clip about this thriving and colorful community although I will say, he forgot to mention the importance of businesses like beauty salons and hair care stores. If you didn't know, Wash n Set Tuesdays uptown can get as low as 10$!!! Damn! I miss uptown! And by the way, Broadway's In the Heights won a Tony for 2008 Best Musical!
